What Is Google AdWords
When
performing a search on Google, you are presented with two types of
results: natural search results and paid search results. If
you
want to appear on the first page of any given search term i.e. "Florida
Real Estate" in a short period of time, the quickest way is
to go
with Pay Per Click advertising (PPC). Now there are many
things
to be aware of when venturing into the world of pay per click
advertising, and Google has one of the most effective systems out
there.
How
will people find me on Google?
Within
AdWords there are two main types of ad
networks: Display and
Search. Although the display network (previously known as
the content network) will ensure
that your ads are displayed on websites that are relevant to your
keywords and ad copy, it is the Search
Network that will provide you
with the most clicks and leads. For more information on the difference
between Display and Search Networks you can click here.
These
are the ads that appear at the
top or right side of the search results within Google.
What other types of ads can I
display on Google?
Other
than text ads, there is the option to display image, video and
rich-media (Flash) ads. These types of ads can be displayed
on
specific sites that are part of Google's Display Network.
